An upgrade sounds like a good idea! for this, you might awant to check out Swim Platform Ultra if you're in Canada. They have a good reviews and custom options, plus cool accessories!

I've heard good things about the quality and fit of Swim Platforms Inc for Sundancers so I think it's a solid choice!
Another company worth looking into is Xtend Outdoors.
They do some customs like integrated dinghy mounts or custom storage, so it might be cool if you're also exploring other ideas beyond the extended platform.

it's a fantastic idea. but keep in mind that unless you're very experienced with marine fiberglass work, bolting, and proper sealing, this is a job best left to professionals. Improper installation can lead to leaks into your transom or structural issues down the line. Make sure the shop uses plenty of high quality marine sealant around every bolt hole
