mom wants to fish in the sea ray sdx 270, but doesn't want a mess!

my 60yo dad bought himself this sweet 270 SDX Outboard last June, and man, he absolutely loves that boat.

It was (and still is!) in fantastic shape – the seats are practically showroom new, and it's got that nice SeaDek flooring. He's super proud of it, as you can imagine.

But here's the thing, my 40yo stepmom is suddenly busting his chops, saying she wants to go fishing on it!

Now, don't get me wrong, that's cool, but her big rule is absolutely no bleeding fish making a mess on the beautiful boat!

He's kinda scratching his head, trying to figure out how to keep his pride and joy in relatively good condition, or at least cut down on the hours he'd spend scrubbing after a fishing trip.

He could probably keep fishing off the back, but he knows that's only gonna work for so long before a real mess happens.

Anyone out there got any genius tips, clever tricks, or even specific accessories he should buy that might help?

Literally anything that can keep his boat clean or at least make cleanup easier after they reel in a bloody one would be hugely appreciated!

You can try a removable fish mat or portable cleaning station mounted on the swim platform. Toss in a fish bag or cooler with cutting board lids to keep cleanup contained. And for a rinse after a trip, a handheld sprayer setup works wonders!
