Is the Wellcraft 26 Excel a hidden gem?

Just came across a couple of Wellcrafts, a 2600 and a 26 Excel. Theyre not as refined as the SR 260, but both seem solid for their age and might even have composite transoms . One is clean and clearly looked after, which usually means it's been well-maintained. The 260 is definitely nicer overall, but the Wellcrafts come with trailers and are priced really well. So, im here just curious what others think.

one tip from me is to get a marine survey. bcs no matter how clean a boat looks, there can be hidden issues, especially with the stringers and transom. A good surveyor will check for rot, engine issues, and other problems that your eye might miss. It's the best money you can spend before making a decision, and it could give you a bargaining chip on the price
