Deciding between B2 and B3 engines on 30ft SR 300s

I have been eyeing 30ft SR 300s from the early 2000s...some rock B2 engines, others B3. Since newer models only have B3s, I'm wondering if B2s are worth skipping, does anyone have experience on this?

Honestly, I heard the B3s got some nicer features than the B2s. Like they're more reliable and all that. If you're looking for less headaches, might be worth sticking with the B3, but there are still others who prefer the B2. I guess it still depends how much tinkering you wanna do.

Thanks for the insight, I'm leaning toward B3 for reliability, but I don't mind some tinkering, I just want to avoid constant headaches while keeping good performance and features

I'd be wary of the B2s, parts are getting harder to find and resale might take a hit. If you're in for the long haul, B3s might be the safer bet

B2s still work fine, but B3s offer smoother shifting, better fuel economy, and more torque

I'd be a little concerned about going with the older B2s, mainly around maintenance costs and parts availability. If Sea Ray phased them out, there might've been performance or reliability reasons behind it.
